The Union and the Employer had a conference call with Arbitrator Miles on Tuesday May 25, 2010.  At that time the parties discussed the Arbitrator’s current draft award.    The Arbitration process requires that two out of the three parties are in agreement on all disputed matters. 

The parties could not reach a consensus regarding classification disputes.   The Union and the County have presented oral arguments regarding the matter and the Arbitrator is now writing final language regarding classification disputes.  The parties have agreed to review the new language and approve the final draft on Wednesday June 2, 2010 at which time the parties will sign off on the final award.
