It is imperative that all of you take the time and immediately contact your local state representative (and any others you can contact) and ask them to co-sponsor/support House Bill 1771.  This bill, if passed would allow all state employees to continue to be paid on time during the upcoming budget impasse! That means no work without pay!

Again, I cannot stress enough how important is for all of us to do this. Without this legislation we are facing the very real possibility of working with-out pay for a very long time. Governor Rendell has already made the statement that he doesn’t care if this budget process lasts through Labor Day! Can you and your family afford to go without your paycheck for that long?
