As we reflect on the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. we are reminded of his legacy not only in the arena of civil and human rights, but also in the struggle for workers rights .  “athough many people know that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., died in Memphis, many don’t know what he was doing there. They don’t know that he died in a struggle for the right of public workers to have a union.” We recognize his seemingly tireless capacity to organize, and are reminded that only #TogetherWeRise
