Our Local represents nearly 20,000 employees who work for a variety of public employers and publicly funded nonprofits. Our members deliver public and human services to our Commonwealth. Our representational work involves a good deal of public policy review and analysis to ensure that State and county regulations are in the best interests of the Pennsylvanians our members serve, and in the interests of our members. There are numerous opportunities to develop a deeper understanding of legislation and public policy in Pennsylvania. Further, SEIU Local 668 is part of the much larger vibrant and dynamic Pennsylvania Labor Movement. We welcome undergraduate and graduate students to work with us in-person or virtually for a semester to learn more about worker issues, social justice, and the Labor Movement.
Students must be able to receive academic credit for their work or participate in a work-study program. Please note, some positions may not be eligible for work-study.
