Public sector labor, private sector labor, community allies, and progressives across the commonwealth are joining together for a massive mobilization across Pennsylvania to lift up our workers and fight back against corporate special interests. Working people deserve the right to join a union and have a voice on the job. But now our freedom is under attack–join the working women and men as we march for our rights!
Times and Locations:
Philadelphia, Saturday, February 24th.
On February 24th, we’ll meet at 6th & ARCH (Constitution Center) at 9:30 am for a rally and then march to the Thomas Paine Plaza. SEIU International President Mary Kay Henry will be on the ground participating in this event and hosting members for a pizza lunch at the SEIU 32bj office after the rally and march!
Harrisburg, Monday, February 26th
On February 26th, we’ll meet at the Harrisburg Labor and Industry Building at Noon.
Pittsburgh, Monday, February 26th.
On February 26th, we’ll meet at Mellon Square Park (6th Ave.) at 7:45 am to march to the Federal Building (1000 Liberty Ave.)
We will also empty our downtown shops at Noon and hold a second rally at 300 Fifth Avenue.
There are dozens of events scheduled on both days all across Pennsvylania. Be sure to wear PURPLE – organizers will have signs and other materials available but feel free to make and bring our own.
