During times of crisis, we are stronger when we stand united and support fellow workers. That is why the SEIU Local 668 Statewide Executive Board created the Bilal Talawali Memorial COVID-19 Hardship Fund, so we can support members who need help most during these trying times.
Bilal was an SEIU 668 member-leader in Delaware County who was lost to the Coronavirus. This fund, established in his memory, will assist members who have experienced hardships as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Members can apply to receive a $100 benefit from the fund; the families of members lost to the Coronavirus may be eligible for a $500 benefit. You can read the resolution establishing the fund here.
