Your Vote Counts: Key 2025 Election Dates and Why It Matters
Every election matters. Judges, local officials, and public policies are decided by your ballot. This year, SEIU Local 668 proudly endorses Pennsylvania Supreme Court Justices Dougherty, Donahue, and Wecht up for retention, who have defended fair treatment, workers’ rights, and access to justice.
Below are the key 2025 election dates and deadlines in Pennsylvania. Mark your calendar now and help make sure others vote too.
2025 Voting Dates and Deadlines
October 20, 2025: Last day to register to vote.
October 28, 2025: Deadline to apply for a mail-in or civilian absentee ballot.
November 4, 2025: Election Day and the last day for county election offices to receive mail ballots, which must arrive by 8:00 p.m.
Judicial retention referenda, municipal and local races, and other county offices will appear on the ballot on November 4, 2025.
Why This Matters
When you vote, you help shape the courts, protect public services, and hold power accountable. Justices Dougherty, Donahue, and Wecht have stood for fairness, workers’ rights, and communities over corporate interests.
If we do not turn out in large numbers, decisions that affect our jobs, our rights, and our neighborhood services will be made by people who do not share our values.
Make a plan now. Check your registration status, request a mail ballot if you need one, arrange transportation or time off, and be sure to cast your vote on November 4. Remind every coworker, friend, and neighbor that our voices and our votes matter.
When we vote, we win.
